School will be closed for an additional training day on Tuesday

Students will be invited in for their test before attending school, hopefully on the Wednesday.  They will need to bring a signed consent form or be accompanied by parent carers. A mobile number and an email will be needed to register and receive results.

They will be given work to complete at home for Wednesday whilst they wait for their test result.

Parents must telephone school with the result and also text the result to school.

School will start as normal on Thursday for all those that have negative tests.

All will need to be tested again on Monday 11th.

Covid 19 Testing

As a Brent resident you can get a rapid result, asymptomatic test, over the school holiday. You can book online at www.brent.gov.uk/covidtesting or over the phone on 020 8937 4440. Taking a test could help your family stay safe and protect vulnerable family and friends. Please note that under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult.

We will be making testing of staff and students available from 4th Jan.

We are waiting for further details and will be in touch.

Coronavirus Concerns

Dear Parent/Carer

We are heading into unprecedented times. and I hope that you and your family are coping.

We have been working to put in place contingency measures, since half term, and I would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard.

We are staying open for all students and from Monday 23rd March:

  • Everyone will be based at Stag Lane.
  • Breakfast Club will operate from 9:30am.
  • Lunch will be provided
  • Staff will be contacting students who are at home, on a daily basis.
  • We will close at 2:00pm

It is highly likely that a new plan will go into place, as the situation develops beyond the next two weeks.

It is important that you let the school know if your child is going to be absent, as per normal procedures and if anyone in your family has symptoms, please keep your child at home for 14 days.

We are monitoring both staff and student levels of attendance and then planning our provision around those levels.

We will be operating a support line but please be aware that the way the phone system works if the phone is engaged on another call it sounds as if it is just ringing and no one is answering.

Please let us know if we can be of any support.
