Year 9 Transition/Induction Programme
As part of the Year 9 Transition project from KS3 to KS4, the year 9 students take part in a week-long induction programme based at KS4.
This years induction/transition programme was based upon the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Students took part in a number of activities throughout the week. The final part of the project involved the students splitting into two groups to create a group presentation and a range of posters to be displayed around the school. One group focussed on The Black Panther Movement and the other group focused on the life of Olive Morris. The students really excelled themselves and delivered some amazing presentations as well as creating some beautiful posters as seen in the image below.
